    Thompson represented a man arrested in connection with a mass shooter who escaped 11 counts of attempted first degree murder after he opened fire into a crowd of approximately 1,000 people at a Kappa Alpha Psi homecoming luau with a gun converted into a machine gun. The shooter and Thompson's client each got plea deals for lesser charges.

    Thompson helped a gang member with 7+ cases, including aggravated assault with firearm and possession of stolen firearm (pled guilty to both), attempted first-degree murder, felon in possession of a firearm (multiple counts), terrorizing, obstruction of justice, and gang enhancement charges.

    Thompson helped this gang member from Slaughter skirt justice with just a negligent homicide conviction after being charged with second-degree murder, four counts of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage, cocaine possession, MDMA distribution, and heroin distribution.

    Thompson secured the dismissal of charges against a juvenile who was being tried as an adult for his alleged role in the robbery and killing of a 54-year-old man.
